Tooth Gem Appointment Prep Tips:
Make sure to eat before you come in. You'll need to wait at least one hour after your appointment before eating to allow the gem to fully set and cure.
Avoid acidic foods and drinks (like citrus fruits or juices) for at least 2 hours before your appointment.
Brush and clean your teeth thoroughly beforehand to ensure the area is free of food or buildup.

Tooth Gem Aftercare: Keep Your Sparkle Lasting! ✨
To get the best results and longevity from your new tooth gem, please follow these aftercare tips:
First 12–24 Hours:
Do not touch or play with the gem for at least 12 hours after placement.
Do not eat for 1 hour after your appointment — water is fine to drink.
Do not smoke for the first 12-24 hours (as much as possible)
Stick to soft foods only for the first 12 hours.
Do not brush your teeth for the first 12 hours.
Avoid using an electric toothbrush for 24 hours — just lightly brush by hand if needed.
Keep in mind that the adhesive may take up to 48–72 hours to fully cure.
For Long-Lasting Results:
Avoid biting directly into sticky, crunchy, or hard foods with the tooth that has the gem.
Cut or tear hard foods into smaller pieces before eating.
(Examples: Slice apples instead of biting into them, skip corn on the cob, and never crunch on ice.)Maintain a good oral hygiene routine:
Gently brush with a soft-bristled toothbrush
Floss between teeth every morning and night
Continue seeing your dentist regularly — they can safely clean around the gem and help prevent buildup during checkups.
If you ever want the gem removed, most dentists can do so safely for a small fee.
